Jean-Charles Charuest

Born: 1925, in Quebec City

In the first part of his artistic career, Jean-Charles Charuest worked on the interior design of churches, decorating and redecorating churches throughout eastern North America, including the crypt of St. Joseph's Oratory. His work was noted by an architect of De Castelnau station, Paul Goyer, who gave him the project. Since retiring from decoration at age 68, he has devoted himself to sculpture.
