Overview of the platforms

This shallow, unadorned station is nestled underneath the Palais des Congrès. Its large mezzanine is integrated into the the building, with its western access opening directly into the Palais' ground floor and its access to the Guy-Favreau complex. The exterior eastern access is underneath an overhang of the Palais building.

The mezzanine's ceiling is partially composed of the convention centre's windows; this skylight and the mezzanine's windows allow some sunlight down to the platforms.

Interior of the mezzanine

In itself, the station offers little of interest to the metro-spotter. The platform, dug in a trench, is clad in caramel-coloured tiles and concrete, as well as rippled stainless-steel plates, a unique feature.

Also at platform level are glass display cases featuring archaeological artifacts, recovered from excavations in Montreal, from the nearby Pointe-à-Callière history museum.
