View of the mezzanine from the platform

Like many recent stations, Côte-Sainte-Catherine metro is an attractive, modern, and functional space. It is centered around a large volume, opening on all levels, through which passengers on the upper walkways or arriving on the platforms can see their entire path towards or away from the trains.

The main volume itself, over the mezzanine, is a large space, triangular in section, sloping along the line of the escalators from the walkway above down to the floor.

The most notable decorative aspects are the platform walls, clad in sandblasted concrete, with a dynamic slanting pattern pointing the way to the stairs up to the mezzanine. The angular ridges get closer together, symbolizing acceleration, the closer one gets to the staircases.

The rest of the station is decorated with thoughtfully placed lighting and with metal panels in bright yellow hues.

Kiosk

The single kiosk is an angular, modern glass-and-metal structure.
