ORIGIN OF THE NAME
Sir François-Charles-Stanislas Langelier Boulevard Langelier. Sir François-Charles-Stanislas Langelier (1838-1915) served an active political life as Minister of Lands and Treasurer of the province of Quebec (1878-1879), mayor of Quebec City (1882-1890), Chief Justice of Quebec (1906), and Lieutenant-Governor of the province (1911).
