Eddy Tardif

Born: 20 December 1950, in Sorel (Montérégie)

During his studies in art at UQAM, Eddy Tardif concentrated on metal sculpture. He studied under Mario Bartholini et Yves Trudeau, and associated with renowned sculptors such as Armand Vaillancourt, Jacques Huet, and Pierryves Angers. After having participated in several sculpture symposia in the 1970s, he became an art teacher in 1978 and continues to teach in a South Shore high school. His sculpture in the metro remains his only public work.
