Le potager, 1980 Brick and terra cotta

Conveying rows of vegetables with overhanging trees (the name means "the vegetable garden"), this terra cotta relief is one of two (with Les vents) included in the new rue Berri entrance added to Henri-Bourassa station in the early 1980s. Its material provided the inspiration for redoing the entire station in terra cotta during the accompanying renovations.
