 Révolutions, 2003 Aluminum Height 8,5 m × width 5 m × depth 5 mLocation: Parc Maisonneuve-Cartier, behind Papineau metro station
This sculpture added to the City of Montreal's public art collection through a contest and installed in 2003.Montreal's characteristic spiral staircases are tied into a cloverleaf knot, reminding us that what goes up must come down. The form also recalls the nearby Jacques-Cartier Bridge, the rides at La Ronde, and the infinite loop of the metro's escalators.
